LAHORE (Web Desk) – The contribution of Bangladeshi cricketers in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 has become undefined.
According to media reports, fast bowler Nahid Rana has officially submitted a request to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to play in PSL. The board is seeing his workload and Bangladeshโs upcoming series against Zimbabwe before making a choice.
Peshawar Zalmi selected Nahid Rana in the PSL draft. Peshawar Zalmiโs last league match is planned for May 7, followed by the qualifiers and eliminators, with the final set for May 18.
In the meantime, Zimbabweโs team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on April 15, with the first Test match in Sylhet starting on April 20 and the second in Chattogram on April 28. Though the series is not part of the World Test Championship, the scheduling clash with PSL is making BCBโs decision more complex.
The board is also reflecting whether Nahid Rana should be decided an NOC for the entire PSL season or just for a specific stage. So far-off, he has played only two out of five matches for the Abahani Cricket Team in the Dhaka Premier League as part of capacity organization.
Nahid Rana is not the only Bangladeshi player designated for PSL 10. Lahore Qalandars picked Rishad Hossain, while Karachi Kings drafted violent opener Litton Das.
