JAIPUR: Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer on Saturday, made a main declaration as he branded the Indian Premier League (IPL) bigger than the English Premier League.

The right-handed batter sketched an astonishing contrast while emphasizing the keenness of the profitable league, stating it is important to uphold a peaceful and positive mindset since every side is balanced.

โ€œI believe itโ€™s more modest than even the Premier League. Every team is balanced, and itโ€™s important to maintain a calm and positive mindset. You canโ€™t give to get caught up in hindrances; focus on the present, and tomorrow is always a new day,โ€ Iyer said.

His remarks came after the Kingsโ€™ six-wicket conquest against Delhi Capitals here at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
