The Pakistan cricket team has reached in New Zealand and will begin training in Christchurch today in preparation for the coming white-ball series against the Kiwis.
Particularly, the trophy opening ceremony for the T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand took place at the scenic Port Hills in Christchurch. Pakistanโs Mohammad Haris and New Zealandโs Ish Sodhi symbolized their respective teams at the occasion.
Before departure for New Zealand, Pakistanโs T20 vice-captain Shadab Khan expressed his appreciation for being given another chance in the national team, along with a leadership role. โI am grateful to Allah for this opportunity and the responsibility placed in me. I hope to achieve it to the best of my ability,โ Shadab stated.
The five-match T20I series among Pakistan and New Zealand will start on March 16, followed by a three-match ODI series starting on March 29.
