Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam continued an injury scare during a training session in Islamabad gaining of his teamโs first match in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.
In a video socializing on social media, Babar can be seen struggling to walk after being hit on the foot by a ball during practice. The impact appeared to cause significant distress, making it difficult for him to walk back to the dressing room.
The degree of the injury is yet to be formally established, but the timing is a concern for Zalmi, who are set to play their opening match against Quetta Gladiators tomorrow. The game will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and is programmed to begin at 3:30 PM.
Temporarily, PSL 10 kicks off tonight in Rawalpindi with a lively opening ceremony, followed by the tournament’s first match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at 8:30 PM.
