Islamabad United all-rounder Agha Salman has stated delight over the performances of Hasan Ali and Sahibzada Farhan in the continuing Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has implied that both players might earn an advert in the national side in the future.
In a chat with local news channel, Agha Salman said that while his main focus in PSL is to perform for Islamabad United and help his team win, he is also closely detecting players who might potentially benefit Pakistan in the long run.
โIโm possession a close eye on the form and fitness of players who can go on to represent Pakistan or whom I may have to chief one day,โ he shared.
Though Agha abstained from naming any young player right, he acclaimed the form of Hasan Ali and Sahibzada Farhan, finely representative that he gets them as strong applicants for a return to the national squad.
โItโs quiet early in the tournament each team has only played two or three games so far. But once weโre seven or eight matches in, weโll have a purer picture of who is performing reliably,โ he prominent. โThe way Hasan is careening and the form Farhan is showing they will certainly be on the locator.โ
Speaking about modern-day cricket, Agha highlighted the position of adjusting to the pace and stresses of todayโs game. โModern-day cricket is all about upholding the right speed. Itโs vital to play according to the match situation and conditions.โ
He clarified, โIf you’re pursuing, play at the obligatory run rate. If you’re batting first, goal to post a par score. Occasionally, things donโt go as planned โ and thatโs satisfactory but we have players who can see the demands of current cricket.โ
Agha spoken hope that Pakistan will play improved and thrilling cricket in upcoming projects. โIn the upcoming T20I series, Asia Cup, and World Cup, weโll try to play the kind of cricket that fans want to see.โ
He additional added that entertainment in cricket doesnโt mean wild hitting. โEntertainment means regulatory the game with the required step not just hitting dimly.โ
Observing on young players, Agha said, โYoungsters sometimes make mistakes due to immaturity, but what matters most is that they learn from those mistakes.โ
He also underscored the continued importance of bowlers in a batter-friendly age. โBatters win you matches, but bowlers win you tournaments. Even on high-scoring pitches, if your bowlers can save 10โ15 runs, it makes a big change.โ
Looking fast to PSL 10, Agha Salman said his goal is to help Islamabad United boost their fourth trophy. Though, he recognized Lahore Qalandars as a strong adversary. โIf Lahore continues the momentum theyโve constructed, they will be tough to beat.โ
Agha, who formerly played for Lahore Qalandars, added with a smile, โIโm from Lahore, so when Islamabad isnโt playing, I covertly hope Lahore wins.โ
He decided by saying that Islamabad Unitedโs good start in PSL 10 has increased the teamโs self-reliance, and he hopes they continue their winning force.
