Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a grand dinner at the historic Lahore Fort in honour of the women’s cricket teams participating in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers.
Welcoming all the teams inward in Pakistan for the tournament, Naqvi said, “Pakistan is a peaceful, safe, and cricket-loving country. We kindly welcome all teams participating in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.”
The occasion took place at the iconic Alamgiri Gate of Lahore Fort, where the PCB Chairman individually received players and executives from all teams.
Addressing the assembly, Naqvi said, “We welcome all the visiting teams to Lahore the city of energetic hearts. You are our special guests, and we hope your stay here is pleasant and memorable.”
As portion of their national experience, the distant women cricketers were also given a directed trip of historic milestones including the Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, and Hazuri Bagh.
